SXU's Harris, SAU's Reinhart Gain Men's Indoor Track Weekly Recognition

CHICAGO --- First-place finishes and hitting the 'B' standard during the seven-day period ending Jan. 25 have earned Saint Xavier University's Sean Harris (Blue Island, Ill.) and St. Ambrose University's Joe Reinhart (Girard, Ill.) Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week honors, the league office announced on Wednesday.

Harris collected the track honors after producing his 'B' mark and first-place finish in the 200-meter dash at the Aurora University Grand Prix on Saturday.  His time of 21.51 seconds bested the 81-person field.

The senior also placed fourth among 102 competitors in the 60-meter dash with his 6.94-second finish.

Reinhart used a pair of first-place efforts to garner the field recognition.  He won both the weight throw and shot put events at SAU's own Fighting Bee Invitational on Saturday with distances of 17.26 and 14.83 meters, respectively.

One day earlier, at the University of Iowa Larry Wieczorek Invitational, the junior produced his 'B' mark with his weight throw of 18.47 meters.  That placed him eighth among 27 participants, including individuals from NCAA I programs.  The toss was also the longest in the conference this winter.

Other Track Nominees: Jack Wright (St. Francis).

Other Field Nominees: Connor Whalen (Saint Xavier).
