SXU's Harris, Whalen Repeat In Men's Outdoor Track & Field

CHICAGO --- Saint Xavier University's Sean Harris (Blue Island, Ill.) and Connor Whalen (Burbank, Ill.) did it again, repeating as the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week, respectively, the league office announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Harris set a pair of school records en route to his recognition.  His 10.48-second time in the prelims of the 100-meter dash at the Hillsdale College 'Gina' Relays on Saturday established one of the new marks.  He also placed second in the finals amongst 47 individuals.

The senior then added his second record by placing third among 26 qualifiers in the 110-meter hurdles with his time of 14.21 seconds.

Whalen, a junior, garnered his third straight CCAC Field Athlete of the Week honors by hitting a distance of 53.43 meters in the hammer throw at the same 'Gina' Relays on Saturday.
