JU's Burnett Earns Women's Golfer of the Week Accolades

CHICAGO --- Judson University's Isabell Burnett (Elgin, Ill.) locked down Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week honors with a third-place tournament showing during the seven-day period ending Oct. 5.  The league office made the announcement on Wednesday.

Burnett, a junior, shot rounds of 78 and 75 last Sunday and Monday for a two-day total of 153 to gain the third-place finish at the Edgewood University (Wis.) Invite.  A total of 87 players made up the field.

As a team, the Eagles were fifth among 14 schools that competed.
