Olivet Nazarene Claims 2026 Women's Golf Crown

UNIVERSITY PARK, Ill. --- Aided by three of the top four players in the tournament field, Olivet Nazarene University claimed the 2026 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championship on Tuesday at University Park Golf Course.

The Tigers, who took an eight-stroke lead into Day 2, captured the six-team tournament by nine strokes over runner-up Judson University, 667-676.  Holy Cross College was a distant third at 705.

Judson University's Isabell Burnett topped the field with her two-round total of 155 (74-81) and ONU followed with each of the next three placers.  Garnering the second spot was Lizzie Howard (158: 79-79), followed by Sophie Burns (164: 82-82) and Taylor Ice (166: 82-84).  The latter tied with Holy Cross' Bianca Huizer (166: 79-87) for fourth place.

Each of those players were named to the five-member all-tournament team with Burnett claiming the medalist recognition.

Olivet Nazarene posted a 330 on the tournament's first day and followed up with a 337 on Tuesday.  Judson shot identical rounds of 338 on each of its two days.

A total of 32 players made up the field.

With the title, Olivet Nazarene advances to the NAIA National Championships, which will take place May 19-22 at Eagle Crest Golf Club in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
