CHICAGO --- Viterbo University's Avery Poppe (Hayward, Wis.) gained Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honors for the second straight time, while Saint Xavier University's Lexi Clarke (Plainfield, Ill.) did so for the first time on the track side when the awards were handed out Wednesday afternoon by the league office.

Clarke won the 800-meter race at the Hillsdale College 'Gina' Relays on Saturday, besting 14 other runners.  The senior's time of 2:11.71 was also her second-best personal time.

Poppe, meanwhile, used a school record to garner the field accolades for the second straight week.  Her 4,811 points in the heptathlon at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Phil Esten Challenge set the new V-Hawk mark.

The score currently ranks third in the NAIA and is the best performance by a sophomore in the nation.

Other Track Nominees: Olivia Lentz (Olivet Nazarene).

Other Field Nominees: Haylee Whitcraft (Olivet Nazarene).
